Thanks both of you! One of my favourite ever feedback quotes on I'm a Scientist came from a 13 year old girl who said, 'It gave me much more confidence to put my hand up and know that, OK, sometimes I will get it wrong.'

Hear hear re the quote from Sophia and this whole project. What's important about her attitude is that it leads to ongoing inquiry and engagement. By making the effort to communicate at the level at which someone can take in information (rather than trying to drag them 'up' to your level - or worse, being impatient because they're not already there), you create an accepting environment in which they feel free to ask another question, as opposed to shutting them out (and shutting them down), which can only lead to resentment.
